Five for Friday!

It's that time of the week again! Happy weekend everyone! Thanks Doodle Bugs Teaching for your weekly link-up! It's always fun to see what everyone else has been up to!

Maybe you're almost done school, or maybe you're not! Here's a helpful blog post with 25 tips and tricks to help you and your students get to the end of the year! Officially, I have 5 more weeks of school!! Ramadan begins in the beginning of June however, so we may just have 2 weeks left! Time will tell... All the uncertainty..

Check out Part 2 of my Improving Reading Comprehension Series! Look forward to Part 3 next Friday for the juicy stuff! Check for Part 1 here.

We have been busy creating some awesome models of the Solar System! The kids are working hard on them, and they are so excited! You can grab the freebie in my store by clicking any of the pictures below. They began by completing two frayer models using words we learned about (related to space) and completed a paragraph about what they had learned. I let them work in pairs. Then, they made a list of materials, wrote the method and drew a picture of what their model would look like when it was complete! Our room is currently littered with styrofoam balls, skewers, clay, paint, and more!!!

Adding string so she can hang the planets inside the black box!

Painting the Earth!

Completing their paragraph about the solar system.

Making planets out of clay.

I am super excited about this TpT Seller's Binder I created. It has everything you could ever need! I wrote a blog post on it here. It is now my lifeline, and helps keep me organized! It includes monthly calendars for long term planning, two 'month at a glance' overview sheets, expenses and earnings sheets and graphs, 8 detailed social media tracking sheets for TpT, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and your blog, to do lists, idea sheets, product planning sheets, blog post planning sheets, sheets to track contests, giveaways, guest bloggers, passwords and more! It is also printer friendly, and there are different options so you can save paper!

Mark your calendars! On June 1st I will be holding my first "First of the Month Freebies" Link up! You can link up and share some of your best freebies, new or old! My hope is that we can collect some awesome freebies for each other and our followers. Each month will have a theme, so June's freebie link up will be Summer themed! This can include 'school's out' freebies as well! The main freebie must be your own, but you are welcome to share other freebies you have found as well. Spread the Word!

Thanks for stopping by, have an awesome weekend!
